Srinagar, Nov 25: Unknown persons tonight set afire Panchayat Ghar at Batagund in Shopian area of South Kashmir.
The Panchayat Ghar was completely gutted in fire incident. Earlier, in the day at around 2 pm, unknown gunmen set afire the Panchayat Ghar but that time it was brought under control by police and fire men.
Around 20 Panchayat Ghars have been set ablaze by unknown persons since the Panchayat elections were announced.
