The illegal occupation of Pakistan over the areas of erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir which is commonly called as Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) and Pakistan Occupied Territories of Ladakh (POTL) is on the unfinished agenda of Bharat, however these areas will be soon rejoined with Bharat once again under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and its Government. Because India’s soft power is increasing day by day in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir as well as Pakistan-occupied territories of Ladakh. Under the vibrant leadership of Mr Modi, the development of Jammu and Kashmir is centred around the themes of peace, prosperity, inclusive development and growth. Following the reorganisation of Jammu and Kashmir, a number of changes have taken place.
The present Central Government has consistently opposed Pakistani agendas that negatively impact Jammu and Kashmir, and both the Ministry of External Affairs and the Ministry of Home Affairs have pushed for the withdrawal of Pakistani forces from the areas they control. Although Pakistan has been repeatedly exposed globally for aiding and abetting terrorism and terrorist operations, the Indian government is now deeply concerned about the individuals who continue to live in the territories (POJK, POTL) that they have taken over since 1947. The continuous atrocities committed by the Pakistani regime against the people of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied territories of Ladakh have left the local populace in those places completely fed up. They are not only protesting against the Pakistani army and terrorist groups that have set up several terrorist camps but have been strongly opposing the establishment of launchpads for the terrorists as well as terrorist outfits that train terrorists. Conversely, the Union Territory adminstration of Jammu and Kashmir with the continuous support of the Central Government is expanding its infrastructure, undertaking developmental projects, and engaging in other initiatives to promote the inclusive development and growth of all segments of the society.

This has already been mentioned by the Indian Home Minister, who made a historic statement in the Parliament of India when he stated that the Central Government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is committed to regaining all of the territories that were a part of the former State of Jammu and Kashmir upon its accession, including Gilgit and Baltistan. Since Pakistan has “no locus standi on these Indian territories,” it must vacate any area of India that it is illegitimately occupying. The people living in the Pakistan-occupied areas of Jammu and Kashmir and Pakistan Occupied territories of Ladakh are denied political, economic, social, and other fundamental human rights. They are not receiving any benefits or development, and they are always demonstrating on the roads for their breaches of human rights. But in Jammu and Kashmir earlier, there were 37 seats in Jammu, which has now become 43; and in Kashmir, there were 46 seats, which have now become 47; and in concern with the areas that are still under the occupation of Pakistan, which is commonly called POJK (Pakistan Occupied Jammu and Kashmir), 24 seats have been kept reserved for Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir. The reason for the reserving of 24 seats is that POJK is and shall remain part of India.
Earlier, in the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir, there were 107 seats in the Jammu and Kashmir assembly; now there are 114 seats (including the seats reserved for the POJK). Earlier, there were only two nominated members in the legislative assembly, and the number of nominated members for the J&K assembly has increased, and there will be five. The J&K reorganisation act provides for the reorganisation of the erstwhile state of J&K into the Union Territories of Jammu and Kashmir (with an elected legislature) and Ladakh (without an elected legislature). It seeks to increase the number of seats to 90 from 83 in the J&K assembly. According to the reservation act, It also reserves 07 seats for scheduled castes (SC), 09 for scheduled tribes (ST), two for Kashmiri migrants including one for Women, and one for displaced persons from Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK). on the other side innocent residents of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir residing near line of control have repeatedly demonstrated against the Pakistani army and its establishment, calling for India’s assistance and chanting in support of Narendra Modi to free us from Pakistan’s grip and their illegal occupation of Indian territory. In addition to this, they are exposing Pakistani establishments for failing to supply food and other daily essentials, in addition to expressing their rage towards Pakistan. The rates at which these necessities are becoming more and more expensive are skyrocketing, and Pakistan is consistently abusing the resources of the area and implementing unwise policies at the top. The fact that the Pakistani establishment fails to supply them with food and other basic necessities as a whole.
Even the residents of Skardu and Gilgit Baltistan, the Pakistan-occupied territories of Ladakh (POTL), in their frequent anti-Pakistan demonstrations and continuously calling for their reunification with India, They called for the Kargil Road to be reopened during their numerous anti-Pakistan protests in Gilgit Baltistan. Additionally, In recent past developments, as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) deal, Pakistani establishments under this CPEC (China-Pakistan Economic Corridor) agreement with China have forcibly taken possession of the lands of the locals by using force and given them to the Chinese establishment for the extensive infrastructure and connectivity of the project. For these reasons, there have been widespread protests against Pakistan and China for their land-grabbing practices. Numerous non-governmental organisations (NGOs) worldwide that focus on human rights breaches have reported that serious human rights violations occur in those territories that Pakistan has been illegally occupying since 1947.
Not even the rights of women and children are guaranteed. Practice of arbitrarily detaining and arresting people without cause, as well as harassing, torturing, and other ill-treatment of persons exercising their rights to freedom of speech and expression, including those who peacefully resist Pakistan’s illegal and unlawful occupation. Civilians are openly threatened by terrorists and are either killed or imprisoned for refusing to aid and cooperate with terrorists and their terror groups and organisations. It is common knowledge that the February 22, 1994 resolution makes it clear that Jammu and Kashmir is and will always be a part of Bharat. Now is the time to reiterate this promise for real implementation on the ground, without further delaying set up a diplomatic recovery process at the world forums, and force Pakistan to leave the territories of Pakistan-Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (POJK) as well as Pakistan-Occupied Ladakh (POTL) and take possession of those territories they have been illegally occupying since 1947. A large number of innocent were killed and thousands of Hindu-Sikh households were uprooted after their unlawful occupation and are now spread throughout Jammu and Kashmir and other parts of the nation. Furthermore, even India has never renounced its claim to the territory of the erstwhile State of Jammu and Kashmir, which has been under Pakistani illegal occupation since 1947.
The Indian Parliament reaffirmed on February 22, 1994, that Jammu and Kashmir is and always will be an essential component of India and that any attempts to sever it from the rest of the nation will be met with force and determination. 2. Pakistan must leave the areas of the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir that ‘they’ have occupied through aggression. India has the will and capacity to firmly counter all designs against its unity, sovereignty, and territorial integrity. Any attempts to meddle in India’s internal affairs will be met with resolute resolve.
Human rights abuses in Pakistan: the whole world is paying attention to the extremely concerning situation in Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh. The residents are growing increasingly irate and outspoken in their efforts to draw public attention to the worrying state of human rights. They have been vocally requesting to be integrated into India. The moment has come for India to retake the territories that Pakistan has been illegally occupying since 1947. Regaining control of Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, Ladakh, is appropriate at this point because Pakistan is weak now and it is the right time to take back Pakistan-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, and Pakistan has occupied the territories of Ladakh and steer the Akhand Bharat towards peace, prosperity, progress, inclusive development, growth, and development.
