Pak woman nabbed in Kanachak

JAMMU, Nov 7: Army today nabbed a Pakistani woman on the International Border in Kanachak sector and handed her over to police when she was trying to cross over to Pakistan along with an infant.
The woman has disclosed her identity as Rubina Kousar wife of Dil Mohammad, a resident of Hyderabad, Pakistan.
Reports said the woman was moving in Kanachak sector under mysterious circumstances late last night. She had approached some border villagers and asked the route of the border area. The people became doubtful and informed local posts of Army.
The Army personnel nabbed the women and after preliminary questioning handed her over to Kanachak police.
The woman claimed during questioning that she had come to India on valid visa documents along with her brother for cancer treatment. She told police authorities that her brother had gone missing along with visa documents.
The woman said she was told by some persons to reach Jammu and cross over to Pakistan from the International Border, which she did.
However, police was not relying on the statements of the woman and was trying to verify authenticity of her claims from Delhi Police. A case has been registered against her at Kanachak police station.
