JAMMU, July 31: Pakistan tonight violated ceasefire on the Line of Control (LoC) at forward village of Kalaal in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
Sources said Pakistan army resorted to small arms firing followed by mortar shelling at Kalaal at about 9 pm.
An Army jawan was reportedly injured in the shelling. He was evacuated from the firing site and shifted to hospital.
Indian side retaliated, sources said, adding that shelling stopped after about half an hour.
