Pak national held on IB

JAMMU, July 5: The jawans of Border Security Force (BSF) today arrested a Pakistan national while he was moving under suspicious circumstances along the forward area on Indo-Pak international border at Khatmarian in RS Pura sector.
“The alert BSF troops of 122 battalion at Border Out Post (BOP) of Khatmarian in R S Pura sector apprehended a Pakistan National while he was moving suspiciously near border inside the Indian territory in wee hours of this morning,” official sources said.
During preliminary questioning, he revealed his identity as Mohammad Shafiq, 43, son of Mohammad Sarifa Khan, resident of Kuiyan, Rawalakot in
Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK).
“During searches, one HBL debit card on the name of AB Rehman Butt was recovered from his possession,” sources said adding that he has been handed over to local police after preliminary questioning.
In the last one week it is the second time when BSF has apprehended a Pakistani National on the International Border.
