Pak hands over body of washed away Poonch boy

POONCH, Aug 21: Pakistani authorities handed over the dead body of a youth hailing from Jhulas village in Poonch at Chakkan-Da-Bagh, cross LoC point this evening.
Official sources said that 20-year-old Mohd Irshad, son of Bagh Hussain, resident of Jhulas village in Poonch, went missing about three days ago. Later, family came to know that the youth was washed away in flash flood in Poonch river.
The District Administration, Poonch took up the matter with the Pak authorities on that side of the Line of control on the request of the family. They informed the  Indian side that a dead body of young  boy has been found lying on the bank of Poonch river about 4 kms inside the PoK from LOC near Chakkan-da-Bagh.
At around 7 pm, the Pak authorities handed over the dead body of the youth to the District Administration, Poonch in presence of Security agencies at Chakkan-da-Bagh cross LoC point. Later, it was handed over the family for its last rites.
