Pak funding militancy

Day in and day out, it is becoming increasingly palpable that Pakistan was involved head deep in creating violence in Kashmir valley as it is financing militancy and militants over there. Add to it, the element of conspicuous quisling nature and functions of the group of separatists, the situation becomes volatile. So much are they obsessed with the agenda dictated by their masters from across the border, that they do not appear to be hesitant, not even in the least, in exploiting gullible people in the name of religion to create law and order problem to the extent of even attempting to obstructing the operations of the security forces against the militants. It is an irony and is tantamount to trading in civilian casualties, when innocents are ‘inspired’ to pelt security forces profusely to provoke them to respond in self defence under extreme circumstances when their lives are gravely threatened and arms and ammunition perilled to be snatched. The more unfortunate deaths whether of civilians or the security forces, the more do they earn ‘performing scores’ from their masters.
To quote Home Minister Rajnath Singh, “the separatists were trying to exploit every possible situation in the valley to further anti India sentiments leading to law and order problem” has been established beyond any doubt. Who would deny the fact that in spite of international pressures and reprimands from the US coupled with suspending of grants and aid, Pakistan was trying its best rather inducting its available resources to keep the pot boiling in Kashmir by keeping terror infrastructure and communication control stations intact in their country. We know, despite launching of surgical strikes by India against terror hideouts and smashing many in series of counter response, terror infrastructure continues to remain there mainly in the form of training camps, launching pads and communication control stations in Pakistan occupied Kashmir and even across Pakistan. Besides, massive funding operations to sustain militancy in the valley, is being resorted to by Pakistan.
It is paradoxically intriguing to observe that these separatists who feign to be the ‘sympathisers’ of Kashmiri people are taking sadistic pleasure over the continued and unabated violent incidents in Kashmir and which not only affects the otherwise expected still faster economic development of Kashmir but creates an atmosphere of mistrust, insecurity and suspicion which again are sought to be cultivated by this anti India element for catering to the diabolic plans of Pakistan. It is not that they do not have reports that not only thousands of parents have sent their children out of Kashmir to study peacefully and uninterruptedly in schools and colleges in Jammu, Delhi and other cities of the country but seasonally available post paddy harvesting labour in hundreds are preferring leaving Kashmir not only to earn livelihood in Jammu, Amritsar, Delhi and other cities but to enjoy free air, peace, tranquillity, besides warmth of the people. Traders and hawkers selling their merchandise could also be seen thronging all places outside Kashmir without any let, hindrance or problem. Had there been conducive atmosphere in Kashmir, the opportunities and the market demands in the valley itself were no less from any angle whatsoever but continued and overplayed but waning anti India activities, hartals, ‘Aazadi’ rhetoric and the like have made the likes of them fatigued and nauseated.
Again, had there been mass support base of these separatists, there would have been no movement of any group of the Kashmiri society from the Valley. There would have not taken place very successfully elections to Local Bodies and Panchayats . Again, there would have been no perceptible decline in stone pelting incidents which the Home Minister also has referred to. He has, therefore, asserted that law enforcement agencies have managed to overcome the first tide of propaganda and mobilization by Islamic State of Iraq and Syria (ISIS). The Home Minister pointed out that security forces have been grappling effectively with major security challenges like terrorist and security situation in Jammu and Kashmir. However, much more needs to be done to bring the situation at absolutely normal levels and it is hoped that things are moving in right direction by adopting two pronged policy that of faster economic development and sustained anti militancy operations.
