JAMMU, Nov 20: After a brief lull, Pakistan Army today again resorted to firing and ceasefire violation at forward village of Gulpur in Poonch sector. However, there were no casualties or damage in the firing.
Army spokesman Col RK Palta said Pakistan Army resorted to small arms firing at Gulpur in Poonch sector at 5.35 pm today. The firing lasted few minutes, he added.
Col Palta said since it was small arms firing, the troops from this side didn’t retaliate.
He added that there was no damage on Indian side in firing by the Pakistani troops.
According to official sources, there was no infiltration attempt by the militants under the covering fire by the Pakistani troops.
