Pak firing at 4 places on LoC

JAMMU, Mar 29: Pakistan army today violated ceasefire at four places in Poonch and Rajouri districts along the Line of Control (LoC) by resorting to mortar shelling and firing, which was being retaliated effectively by the Indian side.
Reports said Pakistan violated ceasefire at Kirni, Kasba and Shahpur on the LoC in Poonch district at 5.30 pm today inviting strong retaliation from the Indian side, leading to heavy exchanges, which continued till late tonight.
However, there was no report of casualties or damage on the Indian side at these three places.
Pakistan army also opened firing at Pukharni in Lam area of Nowshera sector in Rajouri district at 11.15 am today. The Indian side retaliated.
An Army jawan Naik PS Raman Basarat sustained minor injuries in the firing. He was evacuated to the hospital, where his condition is stated to be out of danger.
Pakistani troops targeted defence locations as well as civilian areas at all four places during the ceasefire violations, reports said.
