JAMMU: Pakistan troops yet again violated the ceasefire by targeting forward posts along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir.
“Pakistan troops during wee hours today fired small arms and few mortars in Saujiyan area close to the border,” Defence sources said here today.
They said no damage to property or loss of human life was reported in firing. “Own troops responded with similar calibre weapons,” they added and said intermittent fire is on since 0330 hrs. Yesterday, also Pakistan violated the ceasefire while on Wednesday two persons, including a woman, were injured in cross border firing in Poonch. (AGENCIES)
