JAMMU, Jan 31: Pakistani troops today again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and Rajouri districts, prompting retaliation by Indian Army.
The firing from across the border in Mankote sector of Poonch district began around 5 pm and was continuing intermittently from both sides, reports said.

They added that Pakistani troops targeted forward posts and villages in Dabraj, Balnoi and Narh of Mankote with small and heavy weapons.
There was no report of any casualty in the Pakistani firing.
Reports said Pakistani troops had also resorted to unprovoked firing and shelling for 15 minutes in Krishna Ghati sector of Poonch district last evening.
Besides Krishna Ghati sector, Pakistani troops had pounded half a dozen villages in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
Today evening, Pakistan again violated ceasefire in Nowshera Forward by resorting to small arms firing and mortar shelling.
