Pak again starts firing along LoC in Nowshera

Jammu:  Pakistan has started unprovoked firing again  along on LoC in Nowshera sector Tuesday evening.  Defence spokesperson said the Indian army is giving befitting reply.

“The Pakistan started unprovoked firing with small and automatic fire arms on Tuesday evening. It’s also firing 82mm and 120mm mortar shells. The Indian posts are retaliating strongly and effectively and the firing is still going on,” said the defence spokesperson.

Pakistan has been consistently firing along this sector for the last few days. Two people including a  14-yr-old had died in the Pak firing in Nowshera sector three-day back.

The administration had shifted about 1000 people to the safer places. The Pak had fired again on Sunday though there was no report of firing on Monday.

MoS PMO  Jitendra Singh had said the Indian response to the Pak firing will be ‘unprecedented’ .

Pak army chief had just few days back visited the LoC .
