JAMMU, Feb 24: Pajero Sport was unveiled today at Lahori Cars, Bachittar Complex, here.
The new Pajero Sport is incorporated with several advanced aspects like an air conditioning unit, a stylish instrument cluster, and a multifunctional steering wheel.
Speaking at the inauguration, Pawan Gupta, Director of Lahori Group said “We are continuously expanding our footprints across the State. J&K is an important market for Mitsubishi Pajero Sport as the market trend is constantly increasing for SUVs.
Along with the introduction of the automatic variant, the Pajero Sport has also received mild design updates that are available in the global model. The changes that the new model has received are a new chrome grille, new front bumper and revamped fog-light surrounds, he added.
“Continuing the trend of innovation as a hallmark, Mitsubishi Pajero Sport is a high performance sports utility vehicle developed by the Japanese automobile company”, said Prinkle Mahajan, Managing Director of the company.
“Pajero Sport is incorporated with a 2.5-litre diesel engine that is mated with a five speed manual transmission gear box. This motor can generate a maximum power of 175.56 bhp in combination with 400Nm torque output. This rugged vehicle has its interiors decorated with a dual tone colour scheme and includes many advanced features. Some of these include an efficient air conditioning unit, power adjustable external wing mirrors, electric tail gate opening, power operated windows as well as a music system, which will amaze the buyers and keep them extremely comfortable. The wide and well cushioned seats offer good comfort and support, while the wood finished panels make it look more appealing. However, the most important feature of this SUV is its super select 4WD system, which enables the driver to switch between four wheel drive and two wheel drive option. When it comes to safety, it features electronic immobilizer, ABS with EBD, dual front airbags and robust disc brakes for added protection. It is protected for up to one year or 20000 km beyond the Mitsubishi New Vehicle Warranty, against all Mechanical and Electrical breakdown”, Mahajan informed.
Yash Paul, Head of Operations stated that Mitsubishi’s SUV Pajero Sport launched by Hindustan Motors Ltd has already received the Off Roader award from the auto magazine BBC Top Gear.
