JAMMU, Jan 15: Artist K.K Gandhi got the rare honour of exhibiting his paintings in his 20th Solo Show at world famous Jehangir Art Gallery in Mumbai.
The show was inaugurated in a grand ceremony by Dr. M. Lakdawala, renowned laparoscopic and robotic surgeon and S. Rajshree Sethi, Director Aura Art E-connect Pvt Ltd besides a large number of art lovers, critics and others.
Other prominent personalities present on the occasion were Sqn. Ldr. Anil Sehgal, Poonam Aggarwal, Swati Bhatt, Vasu Gandhi and renowned TV Actress Parvati Sehgal.
Despite surge in COVID cases in Mumbai, the weeklong show was very successful for Gandhi as people thronged the venue for all the days and expressed their interest and deep sense of adoration for the art works.
Overall 25 paintings were exhibited in the show ‘The Fragrance of My Soil’ and most of these related to the theme itself, which is the topography, culture, ethnic life and spiritual ethos.
Most of the paintings sold and collected by the art collectors were taken to USA, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi.
