JAMMU, Oct 6: Central Jail Jammu (Kot Bhalwal) today organized a painting competition for the jail inmates.
The competition `Creative Outlet’, was organized in collaboration with the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, University of Jammu, under the guidance of DG Prisons, S K Mishra and supervision of Senior Superintendent Jail, Dinesh Sharma.
Sixteen jail inmates took part in the competition, in which P Parshotam of Tmil Nadu stood first while second and third positions were bagged by Harmeet Singh and Zakir Hussain, respectively.
Medical Officer Rajinder Kumar, Assistant Commandant CRPF, Prince Bhardwaj, Sonu Aggarwal and Milan Sharma from the Institute of Music and Fine Arts, were the jury members.
