Satyam Computers founder and former chairman B Ramalinga Raju, the prime accused, and nine others accused in the case were present in the court.
The trial in Satyam fraud case had concluded last week before the special court which examined 216 witnesses and marked 3,038 documents during the course of the hearing.
Touted as the country’s biggest accounting fraud, the scam came to light on January 7, 2009, after Ramalinga Raju confessed to manipulating his company’s account books and inflating profits over many years to the tune of several crores of rupees.
Raju was arrested by the Crime Investigation Department of Andhra Pradesh Police two days later along with his brother.

They have been accused, mainly, of falsification of accounts which caused a loss of Rs 14,000 crore to Satyam shareholders.

Excelsior Correspondent
JAMMU, June 23: Ruling out an alliance with any political party, Panthers Party chief patron Prof Bhim Singh today said that JKNPP will contest all 87 Assembly constituencies in forthcoming State elections.
Talking to media persons, here today, Prof Singh also made it clear that JKNPP will not share political platform with BJP or any other communal, anti-national or pro-militancy groups.

The Panthers Party shall also announce the line of action on July 6 to achieve its agenda and fulfill its commitment, he added while setting the party target of 50 plus in the coming Assembly elections.
Prof Bhim Singh also made it clear that he would not be contesting any election to the Assembly or to Lok Sabha anymore.

On reorganization of J&K he said that the formation of the State of Jammu, Kashmir and Ladakh and Gilgit in 1846 was highly unnatural and therefore reorganization by defining the administrative units (States) is inevitable and in the interest of the people of all the regions. This requires amendment in Article 370 to empower Parliament to legislative in respect of Jammu and Kashmir.
