PAGD set to exploit people again on Art 370: Bali Bhagat

JAMMU, June 22: The decision of People’s Alliance for Gupkar Declaration (PAGD) to participate in June 24 All Party Meet (APM) called by PM Narendra Modi is another attempt to raise hue and cry over abrogation of Article 370 and exploit the people back in Valley by inciting their sentiments over restoration of pre-August 5, 2019 status in J&K.
This was said by the former Minister and senior BJP leader Bali Bhagat in a statement issued here ,today.
Bhagat expressed concern over the decision of the PAGD in becoming part and parcel of the aforesaid meeting as the very stand of this amalgam of Kashmir-based parties is restoration of Article 370 and it is likely they will cry hoarse over this contentious issue and unnecessarily waste energy and time of national leadership because there is no question of J&K going back to the situation where it was entrapped in the clutches of unconstitutional Articles 370 and 35A by the conspiracy of selected few Kashmiri leaders who used to befool people to hilt for satiating their own vested interests.
He said that despite lot of upheaval and uproar these so called leaders of Valley are well aware of the fact that their ground has been washed away by the masterstroke of the Central Government led by PM, Modi as their life time shops have been shut which they have not even imagined in their wildest dreams in spite of the fact that Article 370 was temporary and transient and Article 35-A was clandestinely introduced in the Constitution by the enemies of the erstwhile State of J&K.
“These leaders have lost ground in Valley and elsewhere as the entire Kashmiri community has rejected them badly in the recent Panchayat, BDC, DDC polls and till date the decimation they suffered in these elections is haunting them and now their hopes have been kindled by getting a chance to stage a drama and cry hoarse in the upcoming meeting on June 24 to once again search ground in their home turf by raising voice over restoring Article 370 and Article 35A of the Constitution which they themselves know better that the same is next to impossible”, he said and asked the Kashmiri people not to fall prey their tantrums again as these leaders are nothing but ‘dynastic exploiters’, who can never think beyond their own personal interests.
