Major shake-up in JU

JAMMU, Oct 19: The Jammu University today ordered transfers and postings of Professors, Deputy and Assistant Registrars.
Prof Naresh Padha, Department of Physics, will function as Coordinator RUSA, University of Jammu, an order issued by the Registrar, said.
It said Prof Meena Sharma, Department of Chemistry will function as Rectar, Kathua Campus, the Chief Coordinator Campuses and Coordinator University Institute of Engineering and Technology (UIET) in addition to her existing duties till further orders relieving Prof Naresh Padha from the additional charge.
Prof Jasbir Singh, Department of Economics, will function as Incharge Librarian, Dhanvantry Library in addition to his existing duties till further orders, relieving Prof Rahul Gupta, Department of Statistics of the additional charge.
Dr Raj Kumar, Deputy Registrar (Evaluation Professional will also hold the charge of Evaluation Non-Professional Section, relieving Ashwani Kumar Assistant Registrar of the charge.
Dr. Saran Preet Kour Broca, Assistant Registrar (Development) will also look after RUSA grant, in addition to her existing duties.
Sumita Sharma, Assistant Registrar (R&A/Services), is adjusted as Assistant Registrar (B&F & Grants), relieving Dr Saran Preet Kour Broca & Dritika Singh, Assistant Registrars of the charge.
Dritika Singh, Assistant Registrar (Adm T/W) will also hold the charge of Services Section, in addition to her existing duties relieving Sumita Sharma, Assistant Registrar of the charge.
Ashwani Kumar, Assistant Registrar (Evaluation Non Professional) has been adjusted as Assistant Registrar (R&A and Transport), relieving Vivek Slathia, Deputy Registrar & Sumita Sharma, Assistant Registrar of the charge.
Kuldeep Raj, Assistant Registrar, Examinations was adjusted as Assistant Registrar, Legal Cell, relieving Khem Pal Singh Sambyal, Assistant Registrar of the additional charge.
Vinay Thusoo, Public Relations Officer will function as incharge Media Cell, in addition to his existing duties, relieving Dr. Neeraj Sharma, Special Secretary to Vice-Chancellor of the additional charge.
Guneet Singh Sudan, Assistant Director, Centre for IT Enabled Services and Management will also hold the charge of e-procurement & GeM, relieving Dr Saran Preet Kour Broca, Assistant Registrar of the additional charge.
The Non-Teaching staff working in the Centre for ITES&M will provide him the Secretarial & Technical assistance, in addition to their existing duties.
Ravi Kant Verma Programmer will function as incharge Exam (Computer) Section, relieving Dr Raj Kumar, Deputy Registrar of the additional charge.
