All packages meaningless till KPs rehabilitated with writ of Indian Constitution: Kundan

JAMMU, Aug 13: President Kashmiri Pandit Conference (KPC), Kundan Kashmiri while addressing his party activists at New Delhi strongly reacted against the statement of Union Home Minister, Raj Nath Singh for the implementation of PM package said  that package for return and rehabilitation in the Valley has already been rejected by the KP community on the whole, as this package is linked with the return of displaced KPs to the residences they put in before exodus.
KPC chief said that the return of Kashmiri Pandits to the Valley is a sensitive issue and needs a thorough discussion and serious in view of the ground realities with regard to present scenario of Kashmir Valley as well as the demands and activities of Hurriyat and the political parties.
He further said neither the situation is congenial for KPs return nor Pandits would again like to live in suffocation, un-certainty, fear and subdued conditions after giving great sacrifices and remaining in exile from the last 25 years, till they are rehabilitated as per their wishes and aspirations after abrogation of Article 370.
Mr Kashmiri projected the demands of consolidated rehabilitation of KPs with writ of Indian constitution at the land of Kashyap (Kashyap Homeland), as to allow them to live together as a community; abrogation of Article 370 from the State; constitution of High Level Commission of inquiry to probe for genocides and exodus of Pandits; passing of KPs shrine and temple bill in the Assembly at an earliest; Grant of at least three constituencies in exile till Kashyap homeland is carved out for KP community in the Valley; declaration of distress sale of KPs land and property since 1990 as null and void; rehabilitation of over-aged youth by granting cash assistance of rupees twenty five lakhs and other facilities and medical aid and assistance to those Kashmiri Pandits who are suffering with serious diseases like cancers, kidney problems, heart problems and accidents etc.
