KATHUA, Apr 16: Over six Light Motor Vehicles (LMVs) parked in a by-lane at Kali Bari on Jammu-Pathankot National Highway near here today were damaged after a rashly driven truck after breaking the divider at National Highway hit the vehicles in the by-lane.
As per reports the driver of the truck identified as Jaswinder Singh was dead drunk during the time of accident.
He was overpowered by the people and handed over to Kathua police. The truck bearing registration number JK02BC0479 was on its way from Jammu to Pathankot.
The driver of the truck was arrested by Police and case has been registered under relevant sections of the law against him.
