Central Para Military Forces (CPMF) are protesting for One Rank One Pension (OROP) status from second week of September. There is urgent need to redress the grievance so that para military forces may live a dignified life in an era when prices of essential commodities have gone high.
The para military forces are serving the country in inhospitable conditions, and militancy affected areas. While serving the motherland, many have attained martyrdom. The Central Government is requested to extend the OROP benefit to these personnel as well. There is also the need to set up Ard Sainik Welfare Boards to take care of the para military forces.
