JAMMU, Dec 10: The leaders of opposition parties, who always remain desperate to hold the present PDP-BJP coalition Government responsible for every misdeed, need to first introspect as to what they are uttering keeping in mind that this dispensation has been in power for just nine months while their parties were running the State affairs for decades together after independence.
This was stated by BJP State Spokesperson Balbir Ram Rattan while advising these leaders to have patience and honour the mandate of people, who have shown them the door for their misdeeds and duplicity.
Balbir said it is most unfortunate that the top leaders of NC, Congress and Panthers Party have made it a routine to blame the State’s PDP-BJP coalition Government for everything while the fact is that these parties were running the past Governments in coalition or on their own and what the people are facing today are the results of the misdoings of the past and cannot be corrected in a week or few months.
“The extent of desperation among these leaders can be well judged from the fact that they issue statements on daily basis, which do not have any significance or relevance and are made just for the sake of remaining in news”, Balbir said and added that opposition parties must follow political ethics while going public.
“The PDP-BJP coalition Government got liabilities to the tune of thousands of crores as gift from the previous Government and it is working towards bringing the State on rails”, said Balbir and appealed the opposition parties to support the Government if they really want peace, progress, development and prosperity in the State.
