Open industrial units, shops turn by turn: Khajuria

JAMMU, May 7: Senior BJP leader and former State president of the party, Ashok Khajuria while terming the opening of 100 industrial units in Kathua by UT Government yesterday a good step has appealed the Lt Governor of J&K, G C Murmu that on the same pattern some business establishments and industrial units be opened in other parts of the J&K so that the people who have lost their livelihood due to lockdown can earn something for their sustenance.
Khajuria in a statement while appealing to people to cooperate with Government and follow the advisories issued by it from time to time in order to fight out the dreaded Corona Virus said at the same time it has become imperative for the Government to initiate measures to open the business establishments and industrial units especially those dealing with essential items so that the people linked with them as well as the workers engaged there can earn their living.
Khajuria said the poor laborers, hawkers and small shopkeepers dependent on daily earning have lost their bread and butter due to lockdown and now it is time that Government should find a via and media of allowing these people to resume their work turn by turn by maintaining the social distancing as well.
The BJP leader urged his party colleagues to come forward and work shoulder to shoulder with Government agencies so that a via media can be find in opening the business establishments and industrial units turn by turn so that the economy is saved from further damage. He, while lauding the efforts of Narendra Modi Government which took bold initiative and did not hesitate in taking strong measures in fighting the dreaded Corona Virus said entire world has become admirer of the leadership of Modi and it is the responsibility all of us to cooperate with the Government for our as well as safety and security of the other countrymen so that the India will emerge triumphant in its war against the dreaded virus.
Making a strong dig at Pakistan, Khajuria said that it is unfortunate for our neighboring country when entire world is fighting COVID-19 it is busy in sending the armed desperados to Kashmir to create disturbances in the Valley. The Pakistan has been exposed for its inhuman activities before the comity of nations, he added.
