JAMMU, Nov 7: Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar today restarted OPD services in its premises.
The decision of restarting the Out Patient Department (OPD) was taken on the directions of the higher authorities, said a spokesperson of Government Hospital, Gandhi Nagar. He said the doctors who had been deputed to Rajiv Gandhi Government Hospital, Gangyal have been called back and today OPD services were started in Ophthalmology, ENT and Orthopedics departments
“The OPD services in other departments (excluding Gynae & Obstetrics) shall start from November 9, 2020 in the interest of patient care and growing public demand,” he said, adding, Indoor and investigation/diagnostic services have not been started at this stage and it will be reviewed in the due course of time, considering the COVID-19 only status of the Hospital and trend of COVID-19 pandemic.
