Only fully vaccinated people to be allowed entry in courts

JAMMU, Sept 17: Amid strong apprehension of third wave of COVID-19, the Chief Justice of Common High Court of Jammu and Kashmir and Ladakh has ordered that only fully vaccinated people will be allowed entry in the courts across both the Union Territories.
“Keeping in view the rising trend of COVID-19 infection cases in the UTs of J&K and Ladakh particularly in Kashmir valley and the strong apprehension of the third wave of pandemic, the Registrars Judicial of both the wings of the High Court and the Principal District Judges of all the districts are directed to strictly adhere to the protocol issued by the High Court”, read an order issued by the Chief Justice Pankaj Mithal.
The advocates and all other stakeholders have been asked to cooperate with the concerned officers of the High Court/District Judiciary in implementing the protocol in letter and spirit.
“The Registrars Judicial shall ensure that except officers of the Registry and advocates, no other person is permitted entry in the High Court/District Court building and only those will be permitted entry who are fully vaccinated and possess certificate in this regard”, the Chief Justice said, adding the Registrars Judicial and District Judges concerned shall ensure complete sanitization of the court building twice a week.
