JAMMU, Dec 17: Principal Sessions Judge Jammu Kartar Singh has awarded one year imprisonment and Rs 10,000 fine to Fazal Ahmed, who was facing trial for the last 6 years in an attack case over land dispute at Bishnah.
After hearing both the sides, Principal Sessions Judge convicted the accused and awarded him rigorous imprisonment for a period of one year for the commission of offences falling under Sections 325 RPC. The accused was further sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of six months for the commission of offence falling under Section 324 RPC. He was further awarded rigorous imprisonment for six months for the commission of offence falling under Section 323 RPC.
