RAMBAN, May 23: One shopkeeper was electrocuted while as two others sustained severe burn injuries near Sherbibi under the jurisdiction of Banihal Police Station.
Reports said that three shopkeepers were fiddling with local power transmission line after electricity supply to their business establishments got snapped. During this exercise, all the three shopkeepers namely Abdul Majid, son of Falak Din, Parbhat Singh, son of Mehram Singh and Tirath Singh, son of Isher Singh sustained severe burn injuries.
They were rushed to Sub-District Hospital Banihal where Abdul Majid was pronounced as brought dead while as condition of two others was stated to be out of danger.
