RAJOURI, June 29: The police today arrested a man with charas in Nowshera area of district Rajouri.
As a part of routine patrolling, a team of Nowshera Police Station headed by SHO Nowshera Romal Singh under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera Khaliq Choudhary, signaled a motorcycle No. JK02K-3906, which was on way to Rajouri from Lamberi side. It was being driven by one Satish Kumar, son of Narsi Lal, resident of Jawahar Nagar, Rajouri.
During frisking, police recovered two challis of charas weighing about 30 grams in quantity. Accused was arrested from the spot.
In this connection a case FIR No.114/18 U/S 8/20 NDPS act was registered at PS Nowshera.
