One killed, two injured in road mishaps

JAMMU, Feb 12: An accident victim succumbed to his injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) this evening while two persons were injured today in separate road mishaps in city outskirts.
According to a police spokesperson, Amit Singh (10), son of Joginder Singh, a resident of Tikri in Udhampur district, who got injured in a road accident that took place yesterday evening near Tikri, succumbed to his injuries at GMCH this evening. The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for post mortem
Meanwhile, a person identified as Ravinder Singh (33) son of Vishal Singh of Ron Dumail suffered injuries in a collision between a tipper and a truck at Channi Morh in city outskirts.
In another mishap, a 60-year old person namely Kailash Nath son of Ram Lal of Mohalla Paharian also injured after the scooty he was riding on was hit by a car near Meridian Hotel near Shakuntla Theatre.
Both the injured were shifted to GMCH for treatment. In all cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance.
