SAMBA, Feb 12: Vijaypur police in Samba district today organised an ‘Anti Drugs Rally’ with the students of Government Higher Secondary School, Vijaypur taking the lead.
The rally passed through the town and surrounding areas raising slogans against use of drugs and making the country free of drugs.
Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Vijaypur SS Samyal and police teams from Vijaypur also joined the rally, which was welcomed by the people and shopkeepers of Vijaypur town.
The students appealed to the people to shun the drugs and make the country free of it.
Students were carrying placards like ‘Drug Free India’, ‘Drug Free J&K’ etc during the rally.
