JAMMU, Oct 5: A scooter-borne youth was killed on the spot while his pillion rider was injured when the scooter they were going on, was hit by a tipper at Nagrota Bypass.
The mishap occurred tonight. The injured youth identified as Mohd Arif (24) of Sitni in Nagrota and the body of the deceased who has been identified as Mohd Rafeeq (24) son of Noor Ahmed of Sitni, Nagrota, were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu and its mortuary room, respectively.
The concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
