JAMMU, Mar 23: One teen ager died while another was injured while taking selfies at two different places in Kathua district.
Mobile phone selfie cost the life of a teenager at Sundri Kote hills at Mata Bala Sundri temple in Billawar tehsil .
The deceased was identified as Kishore Kumar, 19, son of Raj Kumar resident of Dinanagar, district Gurdasspur , Punjab.
As per police reports the deceased was at temple of Mata Bala Sundri to have darshan and he tried to take mobile selfie while standing on the edge of hill. Suddenly he fell down of hill and got injured. He was immediately shifted to Sub District Hospital Billawer. But he succumbed to his injuries.
In another incident a youth also got injured when he fell down of a hill while also taking a mobile selfie. But he is safe now. The mobile selfie fashion in this hilly area is now seen common during these Navratras when large number of youth are visiting here.
