Srinagar, June 5: A boy was killed while a motorcyclist was injured in two separate road mishaps.
A police spokesman said an auto bearing registration number JK16-4287 hit and injured a boy namely Suhail Rehman at Naninara in Sumbal area of Bandipora district. The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries, he said, adding that after completion of medico-legal formalities the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites. Police has registered a case in this regard, the spokesman added.
The police spokesman said a motorcycle bearing registration number JK01W-6455 driven by Sheikh Salik and a Tavera bearing registration number JK01T-9755 driven by Nazir Ahmad Najar met with an accident at Karfalee Mohalla Crossing in Fateh Kadal area here, resulting in injuries to the motorcyclist. “The injured was shifted to SMHS hospital for treatment where from he was shifted to SKIMS Soura for further treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
