SAMBA, Dec 16: One person died while another was seriously injured after the motor cycle bearing registration number 1545/JK02B they were riding on was hit by a truck bearing registration number JK08A/7933 late last night on Jammu, Pathankot National Highway near Tarore.
The deceased has been identified Sachin Son of Tarsem Lal of Songli, Police said.
The injured who has been identified as Riñku Son of Nand Lal of Dilany was referred to GMC Jammu for treatment and his condition is stated to be serious. The Bari Brahmana Police has registered a case under relevant Sections of the law. The driver of the vehicle was also arrested by the police.
