SAMBA, May 27: One person died while another suffered injuries after the motorcycles they were riding on collided with each other here, police said today.
They said a bike driven by one Rajindra Kumar (48) son of Harbans Lal of Rajpura, Samba collided with another bike driven by one Ajay Kumar (23) son of Narsingh Dayal of Sanura, resulting in injuries to the duo.
“They were referred to Government Medical College Jammu but one of them, Harbans Lal, succumbed to his injuries on way to the hospital while the other youth is undergoing treatment at the hospital,” police said.
Police have registered a case under relevant sections of the law and taken up further investigation.
