SAMBA, June 9: One person died while the driver of a Video coach was seriously injured after it hit a truck on Jammu –Pathankote National Highway early this morning at Bar Brahmana.
As per reports a speedy truck bearing number JK 02G9220 had met with an accident late last night at Bari Brahmna and turned turtle on National Highway. Later a Video coach bus No. UP20T 5559, which was on its way to Jammu from UP early this morning collided with the truck lying on National Highway resulting into the death of one passenger and serious injury to driver of the bus.
The dead was identified as Rajinder Singh of Samba while the driver has been identified as Harleek Singh. He was admitted in GMC Jammu for treatment. The driver of the truck had fled from the spot after accident.
The Bari Brahmana police has registered a case and started search of truck driver.
