REASI, June 17: A scooty riding woman was knocked to death and the pillion rider youth sustained critical injuries when their two-wheeler was hit by a bus at Jammu-Katra road while in another road accident near Sula Park, Reasi, three persons were injured when their car rammed into an electric pole, here today.
Reports said that a scooty bearing registration number JK02BW-1661 was hit by a passenger bus HR37E-7777 at Jammu Katra road near Shrine Board Office, resulting into on the spot death of scooty rider Manjeet Kour alias Mannu, wife of Rinku of Matyal Katra.

The pillion rider, identified as Prem Kumar (18), son of Rakesh Kumar of Residency Road Jammu, was seriously injured in the accident. He was shifted to CHC Katra and later referred to GMC Hospital Jammu for advanced treatment.
According to SHO Katra, Inspector Pardeep Gupta, driver of the bus has been arrested and a case under relevant sections was registered in this connection.
Meanwhile, in another road accident, a car bearing registration number JK02AG- 9387, rammed into an electricity pole near Sula Park Reasi resulting into injuries to three persons on board. The injured were identified as Jagdish (30) , son of Puran Chand, Faqir Chand (80) and his wife Shivi Devi, all residents of Arnas.
The injured were shifted to DH Reasi and their condition was stated to be stable.
