RAMBAN, Sept 28: A driver was killed while four others were injured in accidents, here today.
As per police sources, a tipper bearing registration number JK14B-5187 was on its way to Harog from Sumber, when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it rolled down into gorge near Magedhar area.
In the incident, the driver identified as Atta Mohammad, son of Ghulam Rassol of Deghog died on the spot, while another person namely Nawaz Ahmed, son of Mohammad Latif was injured.
The injured was rushed to PHC Sangaldan where he was undergoing treatment when last reports came in.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Dharamkund Police Station and investigation started.
Meanwhile, a car bearing registration number JK01G-1478 rolled down into gorge near Seri area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to three persons.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to District Hospital Ramban.
The injured were identified as Rajesh Singh, Jave Singh and Gulab Singh, trio residents of Bagh Masta.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Ramban Police Station and investigation started.
