RAMBAN, Mar 15: In two separate road accidents one person died whereas three others sustained injuries in Ramsu area here today on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
Driver of a truck was killed and a helper was injured in a road mishap in Ramban this morning.

Police sources said that a Srinagar bound rashly driven truck bearing registration number PB35Q-8638 collided with a truck bearing registration number JK02BF-7842 coming from the rear side at tunnel T5, Panthyal, Magarkote resulting in on spot death of the driver of the rashly driven truck and injuries to three others.
Police said dead and injured were shifted to PHC Ramsu.
Police identified the deceased driver as Salinder Singh, son of Mohan Singh, resident of Sujanpur, Punjab. They said his helper Cheatan Kumar, son of Raj Kumar, resident of Sujanpur, Pathankot, Punjab was injured.
They said the driver of another truck, Sunil Singh Jamwal, son of Jagdev Singh Jamwal, resident of Bast Chenani received minor injuries.
In another accident a car of Swift make bearing registration number JK13J-0376 while on way to Srinagar from Jammu skidded off the road and fell into a 200 feet gorge at Hingni, Ramsu leaving two people injured.
The injured were rushed to Sub District Hospital Banihal for treatment.
Police has identified the injured as driver Fayaz Ahmed, son of Ghulam Nabi and Vakeel Ahmed, son of Mohammad Yousuf Bhat, both residents of Pulwama, Kashmir.
Police has registered two separate cases in this regard under relevant Sections of law at Police Station Ramsu and started investigation.
