KATHUA, June 19: One person was killed and three others were seriously injured when the car in which they were travelling met an accident with a stranded truck at Dayalachack on National Highway in Kathua district today.
As per reports, the deceased was identified as Deepak Singh, resident of Nai Basti, Jammu. The injured are identified as Tahir Hussian, Deepak Sharma and Sukh Dev Singh and all resident of Nai Basti Jammu. The injured were reffered to GMC Jammu after first aid at SDH Hiranagar.
The accident took place when Car No JK0CD – 6938 rammed into a stranded Truck No PB06H2737 on the roadside at Dayalachack. All the injured were shifted to SDH Hiranagar. The one injured succumbed to his injuries. Three other were shifted to GMC Jammu. Hiranagar police has registred a case in this connection.
