SAMBA, Jan 22: One motorcycle died while two others were injured after the bike bearing registration number JK02CJ-5770 was hit by one Maruti 800 car with Registration Number, JK08-A3377 on Devika bridge, Vijaypur.
The motorcycle was driven by Ranjit Kumar, son of Tilak Raj, R/o Swakhi Hiranagar district Kathua. Both motorcycle and Maruti were on way from Samba towards Vijaypur side and when reached near Devak bridge Maruti hit the bike resulting motorcycle rider viz, Aman Sharma, 19, son of Tarsem Lal, W.NO.9 Bishnah died on spot and two other injured including Subham Sharma, son of Jagdish Raj of Bana Chak Bishnah, Ankush Sharma, 18, R/o Bishnah got injured.
The injured were shifted to Government Hospital, Vijaypur from where they were referred to GMC Jammu. Dead body was shifted to CHC Ramgarh. Vijaypur Police has registered a case in this regard.
