MENDHAR, May 9: A tractor met with an accident in Sakhi Maidan area of Mendhar sub division in Poonch district today evening in which a young man was seriously injured.
The injured was immediately taken to the sub district hospital, Mendhar with the help of local people where after giving first- aid, the doctors referred him to GMC Rajouri.
The police said that accident took place when one Mohd Riaz (24), son of Manzoor Hussain, hailing from Chajjla was going somewhere with the driver riding on the tractor. Although the driver fled the spot, Riaz suffered serious injuries. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
