JAMMU, Oct 30: A man was arrested today with illicit liquor from Roopnagar area of city outskirts.
During routine patrolling, a police team of police station Janipur on the basis of suspicion intercepted a pedestrian namely Ashok Kumar son of Karam Chand of Nagbani at lower Roopnagar and during search of his belongings, recovered 48 pouches of illicit liquor.
He said the accused was arrested along with the illicit liquor recovered from him and a case under relevant sections was registered against him in police station Janipur vide FIR number 82/2020.
