KISHTWAR, July 13: Police arrested a man along with 500 grams heroin worth Rs 2.5 crore at Bimarnag near Hadyal area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar police station.
As per police sources, on specific inputs, police team from Kishtwar police station laid a naka at Bimarnag near Hadyal area and intercepted a man on suspicious grounds.
During checking, police recovered 500 grams heroin worth Rs 2.5 crore and arrested the accused, who has been identified as Mohammad Rafi of Sarawan Thakrie, district Kishtwar.
A case under FIR number 113/15 under Section 8/21/22 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
