UDHAMPUR, May 19: Udhampur Police today seized 10 grams of heroin like substance from a drug peddler, who was arrested from TCP Domail.
The accused , namely Azar Chandail of Housing Colony, Udhampur, was intercepted by a police patrolling party, led SHO Udhampur, Vijay Singh Choudhary, under the supervision of Dr Rohit Chadgal, DySP Hqrs Udhampur and Rajinder Singh Katoch, Addl SP Udhampur.
During personal search of the accused, 10 grams of heroin like substance was recovered from his possession. He was arrested on the spot and recovered heroin like substance was also seized.
In this connection, a case FIR number 200/2020, under section 8/21/22 NDPS Act has been registered at PS Udhampur and further investigation of the case is taken up.
