JAMMU, Mar 21: Miran Sahib Police arrested drug peddler along with 5 gram of heroin like substance.
“On specific information, a team of police station Miran Sahib led by SHP Aijaz Wani laid a special naka at Indira Nagar and stopped a man namely Amit Raina son of Ashok Raina of Talli Morh (Miran Sahib) for checking,” police sources said.
They said during frisking of the man, 5 grams of heroin (chitta) like substance was recovered from his possession and accordingly, a case FIR Number 29/2021 under Sections 8/21/22/29 NDPS was registered against the accused. Sources said police is also looking forward and backward channels of the transaction.
The arrest and recovery was made by the police team under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Shabir Khan.
