REASI, June 18: A man was held with charas at Bhagga Saldi by Reasi police.
“During the intervening night of June 17 and 18, a special naka was laid at Bhagga Saldi after getting specific information of drug peddling,” a police official said.
He said that during naka checking one person namely Ranjeet Singh alias Pinku son of Kapoor Singh, resident of Bhagga, tehsil Katra, district Reasi, coming from Bhagga towards Saldi was intercepted and on search 2 challies of charas like material weighing 31 g was recovered from his possession.
“In this connection, a case FIR No 125/2019 under Section 8/20 NDPS Act has been registered at concerned police station and investigation started,” the officials said, adding the whole operation was conducted under the supervision of Wasim Hamdani Deputy SP Headquarters Reasi.
