RAMBAN, Aug 14: Continuing its drive against Narcotics smuggling, District Police Ramban today arrested a drug peddler and recovered 300 g of Charas from his possession.
Acting on specific information, a police party led by Inspector Tariq Naik, SHO PS Banihal under the supervision of SDPO Banihal, Mohd Rafiq and SSP Ramban, Randeep Kumar, laid a special naka near Bust Stand Banihal.
During checking of one Mohd Yousuf son of Ahmadullah, a resident of Gund Adalkot, Banihal, 300 g of Charas was recovered from his possession. The accused has been arrested and a case FIR 127/2015 U/S 8/20 NDPS stands registered at PS Banihal.
