One held with 3 kg Ganja

JAMMU, July 13: A man was arrested today with Ganja by Narwal police.
According to a police official, on suspicion, a pedestrian identified as Dineshwar Khanna son of Mitho Khanna, resident of Chattisgarh (at present Shant Nagar, Janipur) was intercepted this evening by a police team at a naka in Yard No 4, Narwal.
He said on search of the belongings of the pedestrian, 3 Kg Ganja was recovered, which was seized by the police. “In this connection, a case under NDPS Act has been registered at police station Bahu Fort and the accused arrested”, he added.
The arrest and recovery was made by Incharge, police post Narwal, ASI Varuneshwar Singh under the supervision of SHO, police station Bahu Fort, Inspector Parvez Sajad, SDPO East, Vipan Chandran, Incharge SP South, Vinay Kumar and overall supervision of SSP Jammu, Vivek Gupta.
