DODA, Apr 27: Police here today arrested a person from illicit liquor manufacturing unit in Gandoh Bhallessa area and recovered the illicit liquor.
Giving details Police said that based on a specific information regarding manufacturing of illicit liquor, cops from Police Station Gandoh headed by SHO Gandoh, Inspector Parvaiz Ahmed Khanday assisted by PSI Avinash Khajuria and under the supervision of SDPO Gandoh, Raj Kumar raided the house of Jai Ram, son of Dharam Chand, resident of Darai in Gandoh and recovered 40 litres Lahan, 5 litres illicit liquor and apparatus from the spot.
A case in FIR with number 36/2024 has been registered under relevant Sections of Excise Act at Police Station Gandoh in this regard and investigation started.
